The Role
Overview
Provides operational and safety support for branch, warehouse and sales teams

Tasks
-May fill in for other branch and warehouse roles as needed -Work with branch to meet or exceed budgeted total sales and margin objectives -Complete or monitor operational functions or processes, ensuring that they are completed accurately, on time, and in compliance with established policies and regulations -Ensure all environmental, health, and safety protocols and policies are being followed -Use hands to finger, handle, or feel: Operates a computer and other office machinery - Constantly – at least 51% -Manage facility, equipment, and vehicle maintenance -Provide operational support including but not limited to: order fulfilment management, sales support, inventory surveillance and cycle counting, warehouse management, order processing, material management, customer and supplier relationship management -Participate in branch sales, quality, and service meetings -Help drive process optimization and continuous process improvement -Motivate and train branch, warehouse, and sales team -Resolve customer claims and concerns -Interface with key suppliers to develop and maintain good relationships -Manage branch expenses including facility, maintenance, supplies, equipment leases, etc

-4 Year / Bachelor's Degree - Preferred -Travels to offsite locations - Occasionally – up to 20% -Sit: Must be able to remain in a stationary position - Constantly – at least 51% -Exposed to unpleasant or disagreeable physical environment such as high noise level and/or exposure to heat and cold - Occasionally – up to 20% -Up to 50 pounds - Occasionally – up to 20% -Up to 10 pounds - Frequently – 21% to 50% -High School or GED - Required -Talk, hear, taste, smell: Must be able to use senses to effectively communicate with co-workers and clients and detect hazardous conditions - Constantly – at least 51% -Strong knowledge / experience using Microsoft Office Tools including Excel and Power BI -Up to 25 pounds - Frequently – 21% to 50% -Solid presentation skills -Strong organizational, analytical, problem solving, and critical thinking skills -2+ years of Business Operations experience -Ability to prioritize workload and seek process and productivity improvements -Walk: Must be able to move about inside/outside office or work location - Frequently – 21% to 50% -Handles or works with potentially dangerous equipment - Occasionally – up to 20% -Ability to negotiate contracts -Strong interpersonal and communication skills -Climb or balance: Must be able to ascend/descend on a ladder, forklift, pallet jack, or other warehouse equipment - Occasionally – up to 20% -Stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl: Must be able to crouch down to stock shelves, pick up boxes, or position oneself to maintain computers in the lab/under desks/in server closet - Occasionally – up to 20% -Experience in the electrical distribution industry a plus -Knowledge of electrical distribution industry, current market, customers, suppliers, and competitors
