Overview

Perform avionics maintenance on MH-139 helicopters at Malmstrom AFB.

Tasks

-Performs work under general supervision. -Performs aircraft maintenance transit inspections and fault resolution. -Performs miscellaneous duties to service aircraft, including flushing crankcase, cleaning screens and filters, greasing moving parts, and checking brakes. -Cleans parts, using cleaning solutions, and polishing and lapping compounds. -Adjusts, repairs, or replaces electrical wiring system and aircraft accessories. -Performs preflight, thru-flight, and post-flight maintenance inspections.

What You Bring

-Handles moderately complex issues and problems and refers more complex issues to higher-level staff. -Technicians must have previous helicopter experience with a minimum of four (4) years aviation experience. -Must obtain or possess a valid US Passport. -Possesses solid working knowledge of subject matter. -Valid Driver's License required. -Must be able to pass DOT ground support physical. -HS diploma or equivalent. -Secret Clearance (interim Secret to start).
