The Role

Overview

Design and approve scaffold solutions, calculations and drawings for Aberdeen sites.

Tasks

-Attend site visits/stakeholder meetings when necessary to provide engineering assistance to internal company supervisors and/or clients (potential overnight stays may be necessary) -Produce, check and approve drawings, calculations and risk assessments for issue to Operations -Ensure details of communications, sketches, drawings, approval, design changes, photographs are kept within the job specific file in line with all design department procedures -Be responsible for giving accurate advice to operations team within remit on design solutions and ensure client queries are professionally and accurately responded to

What You Bring

-Good working knowledge in using Eurocodes for structural design and standards related to scaffold design. -Degree qualification in Civil/Structural Engineering or equivalent -Experience as a scaffold designer is essential -Ability to use AutoCAD 2D as a minimum. Revit and knowledge of 3D analysis software would be a plus
