Tasks

-Undertake mechanical modifications and repairs, ensuring operational performance and reliability of HV equipment. -Plan, coordinate, and execute HV switching operations, applying safe systems of work up to 33kV (and potentially 132kV). -Champion safety and quality, ensuring all work is carried out to the highest technical and compliance standards. -Contribute to continuous improvement, identifying opportunities to innovate and enhance safety, efficiency, and sustainability in project delivery. -Perform electrical testing, fault finding, and diagnostic assessments, delivering efficient and reliable solutions on-site. -Lead and deliver high-voltage projects across the UK, from CDM construction and infrastructure upgrades to asset maintenance and commissioning. -Collaborate closely with clients, project managers, and network operators to deliver successful project outcomes on time and within budget. -Mentor and guide site teams, Engineers, and SAPs — promoting best practice and fostering a collaborative work environment. -Take on exciting, high-profile projects nationwide, working with cutting-edge technologies and major clients.

What You Bring

We’re on the lookout for a highly skilled and motivated High Voltage Senior Authorised Persons (SAP) to join one of our industry leading clients. -Proven knowledge of HV networks, switching activities, and safe systems of work. -Solid background in HV electrical testing, commissioning, installation, and maintenance. -SAP authorisations up to 33kV / 132kV (live) -Experience working with DNOs, iDNOs, or ICPs is highly advantageous. -Strong leadership qualities with the confidence to make critical decisions under pressure. -Excellent communication, organisation, and problem-solving skills.
