Tasks

-Proofread all documents and correspondence for accuracy -Schedule hearings, depositions, and meetings -Communicating with clients, court personnel, and opposing counsel -Coordinating logistics with attorneys for trial and preparing binders and courtroom materials -Prepare and edit correspondence and other legal documents from written and oral drafts and forms, draft standard correspondence, and email communications -Process invoices, credit card reconciliations and reimbursements -Establish and maintain calendar and deadline reminder systems; utilize Outlook calendar system for reserving of conference rooms and scheduling -Open new matters; maintain and organize electronic files, materials, and databases related to group and client matters -Generate and edit PowerPoint presentations and other materials -Draft requests and responses using forms and templates -Handle general office tasks and assist with special projects and other assigned duties -Coordinate travel and dining reservations

What You Bring

We are currently seeking a Legal Coordinator to support our Litigation Practice Group. This position will have a variety of administrative and transactional management responsibilities. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication and technical skills and thrive in a team environment, while still possessing initiative and drive. -Superior oral and written communication skills and strong proofreading skills -Experience with iManage and HotDocs strongly preferred -Must be detail-oriented, organized and able to multi-task, meet deadlines, and work in a fast-paced environment -Ability to think independently and take ownership of projects as assigned -Proficiency in Adobe Acrobat and Visio is a plus -At least 5 years of experience in a similar role -Superior working knowledge of Outlook and Word, including styles and redlining
