Overview

Roll and re-roll metal plates, operate equipment, inspect, paint, and follow safety.

Tasks

-Use hands and arms to feel, reach and grasp -Operate burn table to cut plate according to blueprints and measurements and dispose of any remaining material -Inspect plate for defects and damage -Operate mag lift to transfer plate within the department -Stand and walk for extended periods of time -Follow all safety rules and practices -May be involved in safety committees or initiatives -Roll and re-roll plate to match sweep

What You Bring

-The ability to operate an overhead crane on a production line -The ability to read, write, and speak English fluently -Ability to tolerate both high and low temperatures, loud noises typical of a manufacturing plant -Lift and/or move up to 50 pounds -Blast and paint plate -A minimum of 1 year of experience -Ability to stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl -Ability to work as a team, demonstrate high ethical standards, treat all coworkers with dignity and respect and support a positive working culture -The ability to operate a lift to move loads up to 30,000 pounds -The ability to read a tape measurer
