Tasks
-Provide assistance and feed back to detailers on design issues and come up with solutions to complex problems. -Occasionally visits construction project sites. -Working independently, prepare complete and accurate engineering calculations for a variety of projects -Provide technical support to sales force and customers. -Review and approve detailed application drawings to ensure compliance with corporate standards as well as local regulatory and safety requirements. -Prioritizes and plans work activities; Uses time efficiently in order to meet scheduled deadlines; Plans for additional resources; Sets goals and objectives. -Meets departmental productivity standards; completes work in timely manner. -Is consistently at work and on time; ensures work responsibilities are covered when absent; arrives at meetings and appointments on time. -May be required to carry out jobsite inspections for specific projects. -Observes safety and security procedures; Determines appropriate action beyond guidelines; Reports potentially unsafe conditions; Uses equipment and materials properly. -Treats people with respect; Works with integrity and ethically; Accepts responsibility for own actions; Follow through on commitments. -Follows instructions, responds to management direction; commits to long hours of work when necessary to reach goals; completes tasks on time or notifies appropriate person with an alternate plan. -Responds promptly to customer needs; Solicits customer feedback to improve service; Responds to requests for service and assistance; Meets commitments. -Monitor work schedule to ensure work is completed on time. -Under minimal supervision may be required to prepare drawings utilizing Aluma Products.

Good working knowledge of structural analysis software. -Speaks and writes clearly and informatively; Responds well to questions; Ability to analyze and interpret technical procedures, Regulations; Ability to prepare simple technical reports. -Follows policies and procedures; Completes administrative tasks correctly and on time; Supports organization’s goals and values. -Demonstrated teamwork and interpersonal skills, positive attitude, and ability to work collegially with sales personnel and others to provide customer-focused engineered solutions in the rental and/or sale of forming, shoring and scaffolding products. -Registered as a Professional Engineer with a recognized Professional Engineering Association. -Displays willingness to make decisions; Exhibits sound and accurate judgment; Makes timely decisions. Includes appropriate people in decision making process. -Identifies and resolves problems in a timely manner; Gathers and analyzes information skillfully; Develops alternative solutions; Works well in group problem solving situations. Demonstrates willingness to seek input from others on more difficult design issues/problems. -Demonstrates accuracy and thoroughness; Work is prepared in an organized and presentable format; Looks for ways to improve and promote quality. -Ability to generate creative and efficient solutions; Translates concepts and information into practical solutions; Ability to review drawings/designs and to produce supporting calculations; Uses feedback to modify designs; Applies well established design principles; Demonstrates attention to detail. -Minimum of seven (7) years of progressively responsible working experience in relevant field.
