Tasks

-Provide a high level of technical leadership, helping build the knowledge and competency of colleagues. -Assume responsible charge for the overall economic well-being of assigned project designs. -Adhere to the requirements of current building codes and industry standards, and staying up-to-date with revisions and changes as they are adopted. -Design building electrical systems including utility power, building distribution, lighting, low voltage data, fire alarm, access and security. This includes equipment selections, and authoring equipment and product specifications. -Develop trade-related portions of overall project budgets, ensuring that project goals, design criteria, and schedule requirements are met. -Collaborative Environment: Join a team of in-house architects, engineers, and technicians who work together to deliver exceptional service and results. -Collaborate with diverse teams that include project managers, engineers, and architects to achieve a superior work product.

What You Bring

-Depth of knowledge in NEC and all relevant IBBC codes, including life safety -Strong communicator that can speak design concepts to both client and colleague -Bachelor’s Degree with Licensed Professional Engineer (P.E.) certification -Exceptional design skills with a proficiency in Revit and other computer-aided design software -10+ years of experience designing building electrical systems including utility power, building distribution, lighting, low voltage data, fire alarm, access and security
