Tasks

-Conduct QA/QC reviews, provide staff training, and support professional development. -Apply broad expertise in roadway design, drainage/stormwater management, permitting, structures, and traffic engineering. -Oversee plan preparation and design execution for conventional design-bid-build projects. -Manage hybrid teams across local and regional offices. -Ensure compliance with NJDOT’s Capital Project Delivery Process and Standard Specifications for Road and Bridge Construction. -Collaborate with senior leadership on staffing, forecasting, and resource planning.

An employer who violates this law shall be subject to criminal penalties and civil liability. -Hands-on leadership style with the ability to manage high-level project execution. -Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related field. -Strategic thinker with the ability to lead project tasks and contribute to business development efforts. -Excellent communication skills—verbal, written, and client-facing. -Demonstrate expertise with Departments of Transportation and public works infrastructure projects. -Proven experience with NJDOT and NJTA roadway design projects and delivery protocols. -Strong technical background in transportation engineering: planning, preliminary design, final design, and PS&E. -Skilled in developing contract documents including plans, specifications, schedules, and cost estimates. -15+ years of experience in Transportation infrastructure projects. -Licensed Professional Engineer (PE) in the State of New Jersey.
