Tasks

-Applying your knowledge of Australian Standards (AS/NZS 1170.2, AS/NZS 7000, AS 4100), PLS software suite (PLS-CADD, TOWER & POLE), and HV design. -Leading and delivering designs across HV transmission line projects (33kV all the way through to 500kV). -Mentoring early-career engineers and contributing to the strength of the team. -Collaborating with state utilities, contractors, joint ventures, and alliances to deliver projects that accelerate Australia’s renewable energy future. -Supporting bids and tenders across a spectrum of contracting models – from direct utility maintenance packages to complex D&C of Renewable Energy Zones.

What You Bring

-Strong collaboration and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work across diverse teams and clients. -4+ years’ experience in transmission line engineering, with hands-on design delivery. -A degree in Civil/Structural, Mechanical, or Electrical Engineering (or equivalent). -Proficiency with PLS-CADD (and ideally PLS-POLE and PLS-TOWER). -Access to the Aurecon Design Academy (earn a Graduate Certificate in Design Management with RMIT University).
