Tasks
-Leads department managers with implementing corporate projects and initiatives. -Monitor quality of Region's work, providing guidance and support where appropriate. -Uphold the company's health, safety, quality and efficiency standards within the region, offering suggestions to elevate performance. -Contribute to the formation of business plans for their region. Accountable for the implementation of action items from company's business plans, where appropriate. -Mentor and coach department managers on their career path options and help foster the growth of their teams. -Responsible for team engagement and retention in the Region. Assist with handling conflict and/or strategies for elevating performance. -Directly responsible and accountable for KPIs in the Region they lead. Understand and monitor assigned financial metrics for successful team performance. Holds teams accountable for achieving targets. -Assist with BD and Marketing activities where appropriate. -Responsible for high levels of engagement within the group managed. Responsible for making employment decisions that comply with federal, state, and local laws. Works collaboratively with the Human Resources team to mitigate legal, regulatory, and turnover risks within the organization. -Lead by example. Provide guidance and monitor team's adherence to company's policies and procedures. -Provide guidance on hiring, firing, corrective action, promotional opportunities, compensation, performance evaluation, work hours and schedule, workplace policies, etc. Share insights and/or recommendations on employee compensation adjustments and bonuses. -Monitor regional financial performance, providing support to leaders who are not meeting budget and/or expectation. Determines corrective action plan where appropriate. -Ensure Department(s) within region are providing guidance to their teams on processes and procedures and holding them accountable to company policies. Make recommendations on processes and procedures that can improve efficiency and quality. -Monitor Regional Project Performance and Metrics, providing guidance and support where appropriate. -Foster and embrace a people-focused, high-performance culture that is aligned with the company's purpose and vision. -Escalate potential risks to leadership and/or HR where appropriate. Assist the leadership team with conducting research and sharing insights/expertise where appropriate on issues or challenges.

What You Bring
-Experience: 10+ years of experience in the AEC industry, with at least 5 years managing multiple departments, teams, or offices. -Excellent communication and leadership skills -Ability to uphold the highest level of confidentiality and understanding how/when to apply discretion. -Strong understanding of project delivery processes, resource planning, and client management within a consulting environment. -Education: A bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Architecture, Environmental Science, Construction Management, or a related field; advanced degree or professional registration (PE, AICP, PMP, etc.) preferred. -Proven ability to lead and motivate diverse technical teams to achieve operational, financial, and quality goals. -Environmental consulting experience preferred -Strong analytical and problem-solving skills -Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams
