Marine Structures Engineering Intern

Overview

Assist in marine structural design, drawings, and research as an engineering intern.

Tasks

-Assists with work that involves conventional types of plans, investigations, surveys, or equipment related to marine and waterfront engineering. -Provides support to Engineers by preparing calculations, drawings, and documentation as directed. -Collaborates with internal teams and external partners on multidisciplinary marine design/engineering projects. -Incorporates feedback from Project or Technical Managers and makes adjustments to work products under supervision. -Completes assignments in a timely and effective manner within established schedules. -Supports assignments such as design and development, materials testing, preparation of specifications, process studies, research investigations, report preparation, and other tasks of limited scope that require knowledge of engineering principles and techniques.

What You Bring

-This is an entry level position where no previous experience is required. -3.0 GPA or higher -Valid Driver’s License -Exposure to different phases of design, construction administration, and bid phase services is a plus. -Currently enrolled in an ABET-Accredited College Engineering Program
