Tasks
-Reconciles and prepares the monthly Account Payables (AP) Summary Schedule, including entering AP batches created by Payment Processing, incorporating daily Toll Road Load log summaries (via email), reviewing RITE Report 135, and matching payments to the PeopleSoft (PS) AP download. The AP Summary Schedule is reviewed by the Senior Accountant for accuracy. -Reconciles daily Bank Certification deposits using a three-way match process to identify and resolve discrepancies. -Researches and prepares NSF packets, including check copies, payment IDs that were declined due to insufficient funds, and Cadence debit information. Sends packets to Payment Processing and follows up to confirm payments are properly reversed. -Reconciles interface files daily to ensure accuracy between the subledger and the system of record. -Reconciles First Data and American Express invoices, along with other ad hoc items, ensuring timely receipt and accurate reconciliation. -Assists with bank reconciliations by researching reconciling items provided by the Senior Accountant. Prepares daily Treasury Module files and processes daily tasks within RITE, including transaction processing and research as needed.

What You Bring
-Ability to review financial data for accuracy and completeness -Knowledge of basic accounting principles and reconciliation processes -High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent. -One (1) year of experience working in a finance, accounting, or bookkeeping environment with basic accounting principles knowledge. -Ability to handle confidential financial information with discretion, tact, and initiative -Ability to maintain accurate records and documentation -Ability to perform basic and complex mathematical calculations quickly and accurately -Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with others -Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing -Ability to exercise sound judgment and make informed, rational decisions -Ability to operate and maintain general office equipment -Knowledge of office procedures, practices, and standard accounting terminology
