Tasks
Job Description: The Facility Technician is responsible for managing and maintaining the facility’s infrastructure and systems to ensure efficient, safe, and reliable operations. This role involves supporting the operation and building systems, coordinating maintenance tasks, assisting facility projects, and ensuring compliance with safety regulations and standards. -Provide training and support to staff on facility-related procedures and safety practices. -Ensure that all facility operations comply with local, state, and federal safety regulations and standards. -Support with emergency repairs when necessary. -Perform regular inspections and audits to identify maintenance needs and potential improvements. -Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, facility inspections, and equipment performance. -Ensure the facility is maintained in a clean, safe, and efficient condition. -Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to building systems and equipment. -Work with colleagues on facility improvement projects, including renovations, upgrades, and repairs. -Implement energy-saving initiatives and best practices. -Ensure the facility system is consistent operating at optimum level. -Assist in preparing reports related to facility operations and maintenance status. -Work closely with facility staff, management, and other departments to address facility needs and support operational goals. -Ensure proper waste management and compliance to EPA requirements -Assist in monitoring and manage energy consumption to promote sustainability and reduce costs. -Conduct safety inspections and risk assessments to identify and mitigate potential hazards. -Track utility usage and costs, providing reports on energy efficiency and cost-saving opportunities. -Ensure documentation is up-to-date and compliant with regulatory requirements. -May involve working outside of regular hours to address facility issues or oversee projects. -Assist in the operation and maintenance of building systems, including HVAC systems, MAU, RAU, Scrubbers, Chillers, Boilers, Chemical and Waste Management, electrical systems, cleanroom environment (Temperature & Humidity Control and Pressure Control), UPW, PCW, Vacuum & CDA system and specialty gases and chemicals. -Assist in the development and enforcement of safety protocols and emergency procedures. -Assist with implementing preventive maintenance programs to reduce equipment downtime and extend the lifespan of facility systems. -Follow maintenance schedules and procedures for all facility systems.

What You Bring
-Strong knowledge of building systems, HVAC systems, MAU, RAU, Scrubbers, Chillers, Boilers, Chemical and Waste Management, electrical systems, cleanroom environment (Temperature & Humidity Control and Pressure Control), UPW, PCW, Vacuum & CDA system, work with specialty gas and chemicals. -Standard office environment with frequent visits to facility areas and production environments. -Proficiency in both English and Mandarin is a plus. -Familiarity with safety regulations and industry standards. -High school diploma or equivalent required; technical certification or associate’s degree in Facility Management, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field is preferred. -Willingness to continuously learn and update skills. -Familiarity with safety regulations. local laws and regulations as well as industry standards. -Experience with energy management and sustainability practices. -Knowledge of regulatory requirements specific to the industry or facility type. -Certification in facility management (e.g., Certified Facility Manager (CFM), Facility Management Professional (FMP)). -Strong communication and interpersonal skills. -1-2 years of experience in facility management, building systems maintenance, or a similar role. Solar panel industry is a plus. -Excellent problem-solving, organizational, and project management skills. -Ability to adapt to changing technologies and industry trends. -Proficiency in facility management software and tools. -Strong knowledge of building systems, HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and mechanical systems. -May require occasional travel to other facilities or vendor locations.
