Tasks

-Work with public sector clients to understand their pain points and requirements to better prepare for viable solutions. -Ensure all submissions meet internal governance standards and align with profitability and risk management objectives. -Identify and cultivate new business leads, engaging with developers, consultants, and contractors to build a robust project pipeline -Review tender specifications, drawings, and client requirements to ensure alignment with project scope and cost accuracy. -Strengthen client relationships through consistent engagement, ensuring high levels of satisfaction and repeat business. -Lead the preparation and internal presentation of detailed cost proposals and business justifications for project tenders. -Spearhead the development and execution of business growth strategies tailored to the lift market, with a focus on both new builds and modernization opportunities. -Collaborate with procurement teams and external vendors to secure competitive pricing and optimize bid competitiveness. -Oversee the end-to-end tendering process, ensuring timely and accurate submission of both technical and commercial bids. -Monitor market dynamics, including competitor movements and pricing trends, to initiate strategic positioning and sales tactics. -Represent the company at industry events and forums to enhance brand visibility and promote technical capabilities.

What You Bring

-Commercial Expertise: Skilled in cost estimation, bid strategy, and contract negotiation. -Familiar with PQM criteria and knowledgeable in gearing the company to meet optimal results. -Experience: At least 10 years of relevant experience in business development, sales, or tendering—preferably within the lift, construction, or infrastructure sectors. -Strategic Acumen: Demonstrated ability to develop and execute business plans that deliver measurable growth. -Stakeholder Management: Proven ability to build rapport with clients, consultants, and internal teams. -Industry Insight: Strong understanding of lift systems, project lifecycles, and the tendering landscape. -Leadership: Experience in leading cross-functional teams and managing junior staff. -Education: A degree in Engineering, Business, or a related discipline. Additional qualifications in project management or sales strategy will be advantageous.
