Tasks

National Highways have an excellent opportunity for a Technical Support Analyst (Tier 1) to join our team in Digital Services. The Technical Support Analyst will provide NH office locations with daily onsite support for IT infrastructure, including printers, computers, peripherals and telephone equipment. The Technical Support Analyst will also manage application, system and/or network issues to resolution within the client and assist with new installations, migrations and moves. -Perform routine maintenance on computers, monitors, peripherals and digital/IP telephone systems. -Responsible for maintaining accurate documentation of support work performed via, but not limited to, the helpdesk ticketing system. -Maintaining of communications with the client/end user base, external and internal suppliers, throughout scheduled and daily support work activities -Maintaining updated knowledge of software/hardware to assure the proper implementation and service of client workstations -Setting up new equipment and installing operating system and application software.

What You Bring

Please note this is a full-time office-based position and will be based from our Leeds office. Local travel to multiple sites within the region will also be required. -MCP qualification or relevant experience -Full UK Driving Licence is desirable. -Good working knowledge of networking, protocols, structured cabling and associated terminology. -Experience of implementing and supporting desktop encryption and end point security such as BitLocker. -Related experience in a similar technical support / customer facing role within a corporate/professional environment. -Excellent working knowledge of Microsoft Office and able to demonstrate excellent knowledge of Desktop Operating Systems

Benefits

External candidates will be offered a starting salary at the lower end of the pay scale, while current employees will be appointed in accordance with our established pay policy.
