Relief Plant Supervisor (Readymix)

Overview

Supervises multiple readymix plants, ensuring safe, efficient production and quality.

Key Responsibilities

Tasks

-Working closely with Readymix Technical Teams to ensure quality control of all products -Actively identify and implement site and process improvements -Liaise with Distribution Team to ensure materials are delivered, loaded and dispatched efficiently and accurately -Support and participate in all performance improvements and ensure initiatives are implemented in line with best practice -Batching concrete to meet customer needs and operating the plant to deliver optimum productivity, efficiency, quality and performance to required standards -Supervising on site team, ensuring the site is operated safely, meeting legislative compliance and company health and safety procedures -Ensuring maintenance work on plant and equipment is carried out safely and effectively liaising with line management, suppliers and contractors as required -Overseeing all aspects of daily production including operational costs and controlling stocks -Effectively engage with stakeholders at all levels (internally and externally) -Supporting the RMX Production Manager in the management of plant compliance with business policies and procedures

What You Bring

-NVQ in fixed and mobile plant operations (preferred but we will train) -Confidently manage change and be able to multitask -IOSH Managing Safely (preferred but we will train) -Possess working knowledge of Health, Safety and Environmental policies -Full driving licence -City and Guilds in Concrete Practise (advantageous) -Evidence good time management skills -Demonstrate superb attention to detail -Ability to obtain NVQ in fixed & mobile plant operation -Enjoy working as part of a team and able to efficiently motivate others
