The Role

Overview

Oversee integration department, manage electrical assembly, QC, and team.

Tasks

-Oversee the work of company Electricians, Electrical Integrators, Industrial Technicians, and Industrial Assemblers. -Calibrate equipment to provide specifications. -Interface with Operations Management and Engineers to review and offer input on production drawings and process improvements. -Troubleshoot problems and make timely repairs. -Complete required documentation of repairs and service information. -Ensure adequate inventory of necessary supplies and parts. -Assemble and install all subassemblies post-fabrication (i.e. all subassemblies mechanically fastened). -Test electrical systems and components to ensure proper functioning. -Coordinate/perform preventative maintenance on all tools utilized within the department. -Inspect, test, and diagnose issues with electrical systems and components. -Perform all work in a manner that meets and follows electrical codes, blueprints, and standards. -Install, maintain, and enhance electrical systems and components, including fuses, lights, and wiring.

What You Bring

-Ability to bend, climb, squat, reach, and kneel. -Strong understanding of electrical blueprints, schematics, and diagrams. -Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull up to 50 pounds. -Valid driver's license in state of practice. -Demonstrated ability to operate hand and power tools associated with electrical work. -Completion of an electrician apprenticeship program preferred.. -Ability to read blueprints, drawings, and schematics. -At least 5-8 years of electrical/mechanical experience in manufacturing -Ability to calculate basic mathematical problems. -Completion of an electrician program at a technical or trade school preferred. -Working knowledge of electrical theory, and the associated principles, materials, and equipment. -3-5 years of electrical/mechanical experience in a lead role (Preferably manufacturing site). -Strong understanding of Electrical Code.
