Cash Receipts Specialist

Overview

Process cash receipts, reconcile accounts, and support collections.

Tasks

-Produce monthly account reconciliations. -Prepare batches to be posted to the general ledger. -Processes and enter high volume of daily cash receipts to credit or debit customer accounts. -Partner with colleagues in Shared Services, Technology, and Sales teams to resolve issues and improve processes. Drive communication and change in a world-class organization. -Assist collection department with questions and concerns regarding incoming payments, charge backs or balances. -Investigate and resolve unallocated cash receipts. -Perform basic office duties, such as copying and filing. -Communicate with various banks and clients to ensure all payments are applied correctly.

What You Bring

-Bachelor’s degree from an accredited, not-for-profit University or College required -1+ years of cash application, accounting receivable, billing, or related finance experience in a large and dynamic corporate environment -Prior knowledge of Oracle Cloud -Basic knowledge of accounting -Detail oriented -Experience and demonstrated proficiency with Excel that includes the ability to manipulate data, filter and develop basic formulas. All qualified candidates will be given an assessment to determine their knowledge of Microsoft Excel 2016. -Prior knowledge of Navision (Microsoft Accounting Software) -A track record of commitment to prior employers.
