Tasks

-Operates cylinder extrusion presses, which includes loading metal plates into the machine and unloading cylinders produced by the machine -Wear all required PPE associated with the material. -Accountable for maintaining a safe work environment -Tracks hourly production, makes calculations, and legibly records results -Dimensional and visual inspection of cylinders produced

What You Bring

-Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. -Able to lift 35 lbs., and able to swing a dead blow hammer to tighten machine screws -Ability to speak effectively to co-workers. -High school diploma or GED preferred; or one to three years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. -Must be able to stand for extended periods, and able to walk, reach up and reach down. -Ability to read and interpret document such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
