Electrical engineer to design, manage, and oversee electrical projects for NY OGS.

Tasks

-Coordinate design drawings and related specifications, construction costs estimates, etc., with the other technical disciplines. -Actively oversee consultant design work for assigned projects. -Develop and maintain project documentation, including records of meetings, correspondence, and progress -Review shop drawings, respond to contractor Requests for Information, create and/or review Information Bulletins, and provide similar construction administration and observation during the project’s construction. -Review reports, drawings, specifications, and cost estimates prepared by design consultants. -Perform a full range of supervisory duties, including reviewing the work of subordinate staff. -Perform electrical engineering duties including electrical systems design or management of ongoing rehabilitation of existing electrical equipment. -Prepare electrical drawings and details, specifications, estimates, and/or studies for design projects. -Actively manage the schedule of assigned projects according to workload, priorities, and design schedules.
