Tasks

Manage project schedules, budgets, and documentation. Review drawings and submittals for accuracy, compliance, and quality. Conduct meetings, provide updates, and facilitate decision-making. Coordinate with clients, architects, and internal teams. Promote a collaborative and high-performing team culture. Supervise and mentor junior engineers and BIM technicians. Support business development through proposals, client relationships, and identifying opportunities. The Project Manager oversees structural design from concept through construction, managing analysis, plans, specifications, and contractor submittals. This role leads junior engineers and BIM technicians, coordinates with clients, architects, and municipal agencies, and ensures projects are delivered on schedule and on budget. Typical projects include industrial, datacenter, warehouse, distribution, and low-rise multi-story buildings, designed using ETABS, RISA, SAP, and RAM. Strong structural engineering knowledge and proficiency with ETABS, RISA, SAP, and RAM. Leadership skills with experience mentoring teams. -Knowledge of ETABS, SAFE, PCA or other similar design tools. -Master of Science degree in Civil or Structural Engineering or related field. -Professional Engineer (PE) License. -Proficient in Microsoft Office. -Detail-oriented with strong interpersonal, problem-solving, and team skills. -Bachelor of Science in Civil, Structural, or Architectural Engineering or related field; and ten (10) years of relevant work experience in structural analysis and design of single and low-rise multistory buildings, including project management; or -Experience with Revit and AutoCAD -Minimum 7 years of experience utilizing software packages such as ETABS, RAM, RISA, PCA and SAFE. -Professional Engineer’s (PE) license. -Ability to perform and supervise the design and analysis of mid to high rise buildings utilizing software packages such as ETABS, RAM, RISA, and SAFE. -Master’s degree in Civil, Structural, or Architectural Engineering or related field; and eight (8) years of relevant work experience in structural analysis and design of single and low-rise multistory buildings, including project management. -Excellent communication and collaboration abilities. -Experience in precast and tilt-up buildings desired but not required -Business and project management acumen, including budgeting and resource planning. -Professionalism, accountability, and commitment to delivering high-quality results. -Strong problem-solving, critical thinking, and attention to detail. -Strong structural engineering knowledge and proficiency with ETABS, RISA, SAP, and RAM. -Extensive knowledge of local and national building codes and design practices. -Minimum 7 years of experience in performing and supervising the design and analysis of single and low-rise multistory buildings. -Leadership skills with experience mentoring teams. -Knowledge of standard construction practices and the ability to work with contractors to address construction issues.

In these cases, we may consider paying a salary or rate near the higher end of the range. This position is classified as salaried, exempt. The hiring salary range for this role is anticipated to be $90,000-$110,000 dependent upon experience and qualifications.
