Tasks
-Buying and planning responsibilities within assigned value stream -Manage inbound freight with suppliers in compliance with FILT freight policy and minimizing total landed cost -Maintain inventory and service levels required to support value stream materials strategy and organization objectives -Responsible for all RFQs, POs, logistics and expediting of value stream materials -Responsible for daily MRP runs, line scheduling, work order issuance / management, PO issuance / management, expediting -Ensure compliance of production schedule to requirements and value stream SIOP – daily follow-up with internal and external suppliers and others -Accountable for ongoing supplier performance / management; ensure supplier compliance to ongoing requirements; manage ongoing performance gaps to closure -Provide support on NPD, general new part introduction process and ongoing strategic sourcing efforts; take leading role in ensuring internal and external suppliers are properly integrated into projects
