Overview

Shop technician 2 for HVAC/power maintenance and repairs at Aggreko.

Tasks

-Perform preventive maintenance and repairs of power generators, diesel engines, electrical distribution equipment, HVAC equipment and/or oil free air compressors -You will either be out on your own or teamed up with another technician(s) to set up and operate equipment at the shop -Troubleshoot equipment failures at the shop and handle the repairs

What You Bring

-High School diploma/GED or equivalent work experience -Ability to move or lift objects, typically less than 50 lbs. -Based on the customer requirements, you may be required to obtain and maintain a TWIC card or valid DOT medical card -Valid driver’s license -You’ll be based out of our Columbia (Lexington), SC service center and can expect to work in the shop -Experience with calculating nominal and effective tonnage and/or kW requirements, along with reading and knowing schematics -4-7 years of experience working on power generators and/or commercial HVAC equipment, performing inspections, maintenance, and repairs (TECH 2)
