The Role
Overview
Develop and execute .NET unit tests ensuring DoD compliance and documentation.

Tasks
-Utilize test frameworks such as NUnit, xUnit, and MSTest, and integrate them into government-directed CI/CD pipelines (GitLab, Azure DevOps, Jenkins). -Provide test documentation, including Test Plans, Test Procedures, and Test Results Reports, aligned with RMF, DISA STIGs, and software assurance checklists. -Ensure compliance with DoD testing frameworks and provide traceability to requirements, use cases, and acceptance criteria. -Document findings and deliver defect reports, corrective action recommendations, and regression testing results in accordance with contract data requirements (CDRLs). -Support integration with mission systems hosted at the Force Tracking Mission Management Center (MMC) and other Army/Joint environments. -Develop, maintain, and execute unit test scripts for .NET applications in accordance with PWS quality assurance and software assurance deliverables. -Employ mocking/stubbing frameworks (e.g., Moq, NSubstitute) to support isolated testing of C# components. -Apply test-driven development (TDD) and best practices to increase automation and reduce reliance on manual testing. -Participate in code reviews and contribute to government-led Configuration Control Boards (CCBs).

What You Bring
-Strong understanding of object-oriented programming (OOP) and secure coding practices. -Active DoD 8570/8140 certification (e.g., Security+ CE, CISSP, CASP+) or ability to obtain within contract timeframe. -Knowledge of containerized environments (Docker, Kubernetes, AWS EKS) supporting Army/Joint cloud adoption. -Familiarity with mocking frameworks (Moq, NSubstitute, RhinoMocks). -Must have an Active Secret Security Clearance and be able to obtain a DOD Top Secret Security Clearance and be eligible for SCI -Knowledge of version control (Git), branching strategies, and government-mandated repository management. -Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field. -Prior experience supporting SMDC, J6, or mission systems within the friendly force tracking ecosystem. -Strong documentation skills to support contract deliverables (CDRLs, PWS tasking, and TO metrics). -Familiarity with RMF processes, STIG compliance, and automated security scans (SonarQube, Fortify, Sonatype). -Minimum 3–5 years of experience with C# .NET framework/core development and testing. -Demonstrated experience with unit testing frameworks (xUnit, NUnit, MSTest). -Experience integrating tests into DoD-approved DevSecOps pipelines. -Experience supporting Army Software Factory or DoD software assurance initiatives.
