Tasks

You will also contribute to digital modelling and simulation of battery performance by preparing and structuring key operational data inputs. Close collaboration with internal stakeholders will be essential as you help align systems and data outputs with evolving business needs. As the go-to specialist for systems troubleshooting and performance monitoring, you will manage and resolve system-related tickets and liaise with both internal teams and external vendors to ensure timely and effective issue resolution. Your work will directly support our operational and optimisation teams, helping them to work efficiently with the digital platforms they rely on. In addition to reactive support, you will take a proactive role in developing and enhancing dashboards (primarily in Power BI), providing the business with real-time visibility into performance metrics and operational trends. Your ability to create, manage, and validate complex data sets will be crucial for maintaining the accuracy and consistency of internal billing, external reporting, and analytical models. Beyond your technical responsibilities, you’ll document key processes, data flows, and system usage to foster knowledge sharing and ensure business continuity. You will also be encouraged to identify opportunities for continuous improvement, whether through better data quality, system enhancements, or the automation of routine tasks. -Drive the performance of digital systems across the battery business, ensuring reliable data, insightful dashboards and seamless IT/OT operations.

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Data & Systems Analyst to support the seamless operation and performance of our digital systems across the battery business. In this vital role, you will play a key part in maintaining the integrity of our operational data, developing insightful dashboards, and ensuring the availability of accurate information that underpins critical business activities such as invoicing, reporting, and system optimisation. You’ll bring sharp analytical abilities and strong attention to detail, with proven experience in managing, cleaning, and reconciling large operational datasets with precision. Clear and confident communication is essential, enabling you to document technical processes and work effectively with cross-functional teams. You’re also highly self-motivated and adaptable, capable of delivering quality outcomes independently or as part of a team in fast-paced, dynamic environments. -Proficiency in database query languages or data analysis tools such as SQL, Databricks. Python (e.g. pandas), R, or SAS. -Familiarity with cloud computing environments (e.g. Microsoft Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud Platform) and their data and systems integration tools. -Demonstrated experience supporting IT systems, including troubleshooting, ticket resolution, and operational systems monitoring. -Proven analytical skills with the ability to manage, clean, and reconcile large operational datasets with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail. -Nice to have if you have worked with renewable energy or battery energy storage systems -Ability to work independently and as part of a team to deliver high-quality outputs within tight timeframes and shifting priorities. -Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including advanced functions, e.g. pivot tables. -Bachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline such as Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field. -Experience with one or more data visualisation platforms (e.g. Power BI or Tableau), including developing and maintaining business dashboards.
