Tasks

-Implement infrastructure as code (IaC) using tools such as Terraform, CloudFormation, or Ansible to enable repeatable, version-controlled infrastructure deployment -Design, implement, and maintain secure, scalable, and reliable cloud infrastructure supporting mission-critical federal IT portfolio management applications -Collaborate with development, operations, and security teams to ensure seamless integration, automation, and compliance across environments -Deploy and manage monitoring, alerting, and observability tools to ensure proactive detection and resolution of performance and reliability issues -Develop and manage CI/CD pipelines to automate software build, test, and deployment processes in alignment with Agile delivery practices -Implement cloud security best practices, including identity and access management (IAM), encryption, logging, and vulnerability mitigation -Conduct system tuning, capacity planning, and disaster recovery activities to ensure high availability and resilience -Support application containerization using Docker and orchestration tools such as Kubernetes or Amazon ECS/EKS -Document architecture, procedures, and configurations to support transparency, audit readiness, and knowledge sharing across the team -Drive continuous improvement of DevOps processes, tools, and automation strategies to enhance delivery speed and system reliability -Monitor system performance, availability, and cost efficiency while proactively identifying and resolving operational issues

What You Bring

-Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, GitHub Actions, or Azure DevOps -Proficiency with infrastructure as code tools such as Terraform, Ansible, or CloudFormation -Scripting and automation experience using Python, Bash, or PowerShell -Relevant certifications preferred (e.g., AWS Certified DevOps Engineer, Azure DevOps Engineer Expert, or similar) -U.S. Citizenship and ability to obtain or maintain a Public Trust clearance required -Immediate vesting -Excellent problem-solving, collaboration, and communication skills in a cross-functional Agile environment -7+ years of experience in DevOps, cloud engineering, or systems administration, preferably supporting federal or enterprise-scale applications -Strong understanding of cloud security principles, compliance frameworks, and federal cybersecurity standards (e.g., FISMA, NIST SP 800-53) -Experience with containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes, ECS, or EKS) -Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools such as CloudWatch, Prometheus, Grafana, ELK Stack, or Splunk -Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related technical field (Master's preferred) -Proven experience designing and managing infrastructure in major cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud)
