The Role

Overview

Manage and deliver multidisciplinary mining and heavy industrial projects from concept to completion.

Tasks

-Respond promptly and professionally to all matters related to project scope and execution. -Drive resourcing and budget management to keep projects on track and profitable. -Coordinate engineering deliverables with discipline leads to ensure seamless integration across all project phases. -Take on additional responsibilities as needed to ensure successful project delivery and client satisfaction. -Oversee man-loading planning to optimize team performance and resource allocation. -Manage project changes proactively to minimize risk and maintain scope integrity. -Capture and report lessons learned from previous and current projects to drive continuous improvement. -Develop and maintain project schedules and cost control reports to deliver projects on time and within budget. -Enhance the world around you - from the environment to the highways, to the buildings and the terrain, WSP is the fabric of Canada. -Lead or support business development initiatives, including proposal preparation and project scoping with discipline leads. -Represent WSP with confidence in meetings and presentations, providing clear reporting and addressing client concerns effectively. -Implement and uphold HSE and quality procedures for every project to ensure safety and compliance.

What You Bring

-Must have a valid driving license -Ability to easily interact with clients in a multi-disciplined environment -Post-Secondary Diploma or Degree in Engineering -Must have at 3 years of Project Management experience managing multidisciplinary projects -EIT, CET or P.Eng. designation -Must have at least 7+ years of experience in a consulting environment focused on Mining and/or Heavy Industrial clients and projects
