Tasks

-Define and track compliance lead and lag metrics. -Prepare and present regular compliance reports and dashboards to the Quality and Compliance Manager and senior leadership. -Develop and maintain the Compliance Management System, ensuring alignment with company ISO certifications, electrical and gas safety standards, and relevant legislation. -Provide timely guidance on new or revised regulations impacting off-grid power systems and component manufacturing. -Represent the company during regulatory consultations, certification processes, and compliance forums. -Track federal, state, and local regulatory changes; interpret requirements and update policies and procedures accordingly. -Facilitate the development and delivery support of training programs —both classroom and on-the-job - to elevate team competencies in compliance -Define compliance controls, checklists, and governance mechanisms. -Maintain strong relationships with regulatory bodies, industry associations, customers, and internal teams. -Measure training effectiveness and drive continual enhancement of awareness of Compliance -Compile audit reports, present findings to leadership, and oversee corrective action plans

What You Bring

-Experience liaising with government agencies, certifying bodies, and customers. -Proven expertise in regulatory frameworks for off-grid power systems, environmental regulations, and health & safety standards. -Demonstrated track record in conducting audits, incident investigations, and CAPA management. -Deep understanding of ISO management systems and regulatory frameworks. -Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex regulations and assess risk -Experience in compliance management within regulated industries; remote power systems, renewable energy or manufacturing experience highly desirable.
