Tasks

-Ensure design follows owner standards and requirements, IMEG standards and code requirements; Ensure design milestone deliverables are achieved, IMEG and client quality control processes are completed, and construction technical support occurs in a timely manner -Create monthly billings and submit financial information to Accounting in a timely manner; Update billing projections and estimated completion percentage for all projects monthly -Coordinate, oversee and manage projects ranging in size and complexity. Serve as the point of contact for teams and clients -Build, maintain, and develop client relationships -Collaborate with design staff and coordinate scheduling of projects during all phases of design and construction; Schedule and lead progress meetings and provide meeting documentation -Participate in project interviews and project presentations -Train, mentor, and motivate staff -Assist Project Executives and Client Executives with design scopes of work and fee calculations for proposal generation as well as with contract reviews -Create project schedules including targets for milestones and deadlines -Respond to and resolve client / construction concerns; Manage change orders and obtain appropriate approvals -Collaborate with business development staff, Project Executives, Client Executives, and Market Directors/Leaders during the initial stages of project opportunities

What You Bring

-Ability to perform final quality control check in their area of expertise -Advanced proficiency of Master Specification editing and software such as eSPECS; Proficient with Adobe or Bluebeam Revu -10 years of experience minimum required, 12 preferred, in the building design consulting industry -14 years of experience minimum required, 16 preferred, in the building design consulting or construction industry -Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment -Ability to sell work and develop client relationships -Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; Ability to clearly communicate in both oral and written communication to individuals or groups -Adept in the technical aspects of one’s discipline; advanced proficiency in technical and analytical skills including proficiency of principles of circuit theory, electromagnetism, power systems, and electronics as they relate to electrical systems -Associates degree, or certificate, in Building Information Modeling (BIM) or Engineering preferred -Strong training and mentoring skills -Ability to mentor, train, motivate, and lead others -Bachelor of Science (BS) Degree in Electrical Engineering, or equivalent required -Proficient with MS Office Suite including but not limited to Word, Excel, and Outlook -Ability to travel up to 20% with occasional overnight stays -Attention to detail and problem-solving skills -Knowledge of Illumination Engineering Society (IES) Standards and reference material resources such as NFPA Link, TechStreet, MadCAD, and Facility Guideline Institution (FGI)
