The Role

Overview

Design and develop fire & gas detection and extinguishing systems for gas turbines.

Tasks

-Engage with suppliers and internal stakeholders to ensure quality and compliance with standards. -Lead and contribute to the design and development of the F&G system for gas turbines. -Support prototype testing, and troubleshooting activities. -Collaborate within a cross-functional development team, including mechanical, electrical, combustion and control engineers. -Document design specifications, test results, and system performance data. -Provide technical advice and support to colleagues in product development, manufacturing, and assembly. -Perform technical analysis, simulations, and validation F&G system components and configurations. -Drive system integration, ensuring compatibility with gas turbine and operational requirements. -Independently manage problem-solving tasks and conduct risk analyses. -Contribute to the transition toward flexible and green fuel solutions.

What You Bring

-MSc degree in Mechanical Engineering or Mechatronic Engineering. -Self-sustained senior engineer with strong initiative and problem-solving ability. -Proven track record in testing and validation of instrumentation, for example detectors. -Experience with ammonia injection systems and alternative fuel technologies. -Proficiency in PLM tools. -Relevant experience in the design of F&G system forgas turbines, or similar products. -Strong understanding system process engineering -Good knowledge in English, both writing and speaking.
