Tasks

-Collaborate with cross-functional teams including product management, data science, data and cloud infrastructure to define and execute the AI/ML platform roadmap -Foster a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement within the engineering team -Actively participate in the hiring process to attract and onboard top-tier engineering talent, ensuring the team possesses the necessary skills and expertise to execute on the AI/ML platform vision -Stay updated with the latest advancements in AI/ML technologies -Actively participate in coding, review processes, and problem-solving alongside your team -Drive the design and architecture of scalable, reliable, and efficient AI/ML systems -Lead and mentor a team of engineers in the development and deployment of AI/ML solutions -Manage project timelines and resource allocation to deliver projects successfully -Provide sound technical guidance and drive crucial technology decisions -Ensure adherence to best practices in software development, code quality, and security standards

What You Bring

-12+ years of experience of software engineering, with at least 3 years of experience in a management role -Ability to inspire, motivate, and guide team members towards achieving project goals -Excellent communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders -BS/MS in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field with a focus on AI/ML. (MS preferred) -Experience building on cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform -Deep understanding of algorithms, data structures, and statistical techniques used in machine learning -Knowledge of DevOps practices and tools for CI/CD, automation, and infrastructure as code -Experience building and managing large-scale distributed systems and microservices architecture -Understanding of MLOps principles and practices for effectively managing and automating machine learning workflows, including model versioning, monitoring, and deployment -Strong proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Java -Experience building and deploying AI models, for rapid AI application development, using AWS SageMaker, Bedrock or Azure Machine Learning -Prior experience in building AI/ML platforms or products from inception to production deployment -Strong leadership skills with a proven track record of building and motivating high-performing engineering teams
