Tasks

As a Junior Architect, you will assist in the design, drafting, and development of architectural projects. You will work closely with Senior Architects, Project Managers, and other team members to ensure the successful delivery of high-quality designs. This role offers an excellent opportunity for professional development and growth within the architecture industry. -Participate in the design development process, refining architectural concepts into executable plans. -Help prepare documentation for permits and approvals, ensuring compliance with local regulations. -Assist with the preparation of technical drawings, specifications, and construction details. -Work closely with other architects, engineers, and designers to ensure project goals are met. -Prepare visual presentations and conceptual sketches to communicate design ideas to clients and stakeholders. -Ensure that designs are in compliance with building codes, zoning laws, and environmental regulations. -Assist with site visits to monitor the construction process, ensuring designs are executed according to plans and specifications. -Communicate effectively with clients, consultants, and contractors to ensure alignment throughout the project lifecycle. -Help manage the project schedule by keeping track of timelines, milestones, and deliverables. -Support Senior Architects and Project Managers in all stages of the project, including conceptual design, design development, and construction documentation. -Participate in team meetings and brainstorming sessions, contributing creative ideas and solutions. -Assist in addressing any design or construction issues that arise during the building process. -Stay up-to-date with architectural trends, technologies, and sustainability practices. -Develop detailed drawings and 3D models using industry-standard software such as AutoCAD, Revit, and SketchUp. -Conduct research on building materials, systems, and construction methods to support the design process. -Assist in evaluating site conditions and providing recommendations for design strategies. -Assist in creating design concepts and architectural plans under the supervision of Senior Architects.

Please submit your resume, portfolio, and cover letter to email on [email protected] -Experience working on residential, commercial, or institutional projects. -Basic understanding of building codes, zoning laws, and construction documentation. -Familiarity with BIM (Building Information Modeling) tools and concepts. -Ability to conceptualize and develop creative design solutions. -0-3 years of experience in architectural practice, including internships or previous roles as an Architectural Assistant. -A strong portfolio showcasing your design skills, including academic and any prior work experience. -Proficiency in rendering software to create photorealistic images of architectural designs. -Creative and Design Skills: -Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Architecture from an accredited institution. -Ability to think critically and offer solutions to design and construction challenges. -Strong attention to detail and accuracy in producing architectural drawings and documents. -Experience in sustainable design or familiarity with green building practices such as LEED or Passive House. -Strong analytical skills and the ability to assist with project analysis and planning. -Highly organized with strong time-management skills. -Problem-Solving and Critical Thinking: -Experience working with design software such as AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, or similar tools. -Strong skills in creating visual presentations, including sketches, diagrams, and 3D models. -Knowledge of additional design software such as 3ds Max, V-Ray, or other rendering tools. -Proficient in AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, Rhino, and Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign). -Communication Skills: -Strong written and verbal communication skills. -Good interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team. -Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment. -Ability to present ideas and designs clearly to clients and colleagues.
