  • Lead RFP and pitch responses with our designers and project leads
  • Keep up with industry trends and feed insights into planning
  • Work closely with the team to align business development with our capacity and goals
  • Generate new business across target sectors
  • Represent us at trade shows, conferences, and industry events
  • Manage your pipeline and report progress to leadership
  • Build long-term relationships with clients and partners

Our client are looking for a confident, motivated Business Development Manager to help grow their international client base and explore new opportunities across industries. You’ll work closely with the leadership team, shaping strategy while building lasting relationships with senior decision-makers.

  • Organised, self-motivated, and comfortable managing your own pipeline
  • 5+ years in business development, client services, or commercial strategy (events/exhibitions experience a bonus, not essential)
  • Based within reach of Rugby, with flexibility for international travel
  • Strong understanding of B2B events and brand marketing
  • Proven track record in winning and growing accounts
  • Excellent written and verbal skills — clear, persuasive, and approachable
  • Confidence communicating at all levels, from creatives to execs
