Tasks

This role involves a mix of field investigations, system analysis, design detailing, and report development for façade performance, water intrusion, air barrier issues, and enclosure rehabilitation strategies. -Conduct on-site diagnostic testing and documentation -Evaluate system performance for moisture, energy, and durability -Assess building envelope assemblies for condition, failures, and performance issues -Prepare technical reports and present findings to clients -Support enclosure design reviews for new construction and renovation -Assist with repair design and recommendations for existing buildings

What You Bring

Qualified candidates based in Houston or willing to relocate within commuting distance are encouraged to apply. -Bonus: Experience with modeling tools or enclosure testing protocols -Working knowledge of building physics (thermal, moisture, vapor, and air movement) -3–7 years of experience with exterior wall, roofing, or waterproofing systems -Pathway to deeper specialization in building forensics and diagnostics -Experience with building envelope rehabilitation or enclosure investigations -PE license or Registered Architect (required) -Field investigation and problem-solving mindset -Strong written and verbal communication skills
