Sr Manager, Strategic Sourcing

Tasks

-Resolve conflicts or service level issues regarding supplier performance. -Reviews documentation and legal drafts of contracts/agreements, ensuring contractual/agreement requirements are met, and works directly with Strategic Sourcing Managers and key stakeholders to ensure contract/agreement language and requirements are appropriate and comply with Lennar Corporation policies and procedures. -Review, draft, redline, and negotiate a variety of technology-related agreements, including SOW's, POC's, order forms, amendments, etc. while maintaining coordination with internal and external stakeholders. -Coordinates work with various departments and serves as a liaison between Lennar Corporation and vendors to oversee the intake, review and finalization of all IT and HR contracts that bind the corporation. -Promote career development and manage the performance of the team. -Negotiate and prepare contracts with appropriate terms and conditions. -Responsible for creating and facilitating the issuance and evaluation of RFP’s, RFI’s, etc. -Lead, mentor, and coach managers and specialists. -Effectively deal with conflict inherent in procurement and sourcing operations between suppliers and stakeholders. -Follow directions from a supervisor. -Supplier relationship management, engagement, and continuous improvement of supplier performance. -Connects the dots between strategy and contracting.

-Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment is crucial. -Excellent understanding of IT protocols and guidelines; ensure that IT minimum standards are applied and properly documented. -7+ years of IT Sourcing experience -Excellent customer service skills. -Ability to defuse tension among project team, should it arise. -ITIL experience preferred -Can conform to shifting priorities, demands and timelines through analytical and problem-solving capabilities. -Advanced experience with MS Office. -Must have experience working with large technology partners such as AT&T, CDW, Cisco, IBM, Insight, Oracle, Microsoft, Salesforce, Verizon and VMWare. -Ability to prepare and/or diagnose/interpret financial and other relevant analysis related to the product being sourced. -Ability to work across functional areas to drive continuous improvement. -Strong Customer service skills and focus required. -Innovative thought leader with demonstrated good business acumen and can quickly understand complex business programs related to Information Technologies. -Strong written and oral communication skills. -Must be able to learn, understand, and apply new technologies. -Interact well with co-workers, supervisors and management. -Excellent attention to detail and follow-up skills. -7+ years of IT Purchasing experience -Juris doctorate required. -Proficient understanding of procurement systems and functionality and procure-to-pay processes. -Experience in a team-oriented environment is essential. -Understand and follow posted work rules and procedures. -Ability to communicate effectively with executives, clients, and team members regularly. -Ability to elicit cooperation from many sources, including executives, clients, and other departments. -Maintain Professional appearance and demeanor at all times -Effectively communicates program needs status with internal team members and external stakeholders, ability to build stakeholder trust and influence change. -Strong interpersonal and operational skill sets. -Ability to work in challenging and ambiguous environments. -Ability to read communication styles of team members and contractors who come from a broad spectrum of disciplines.
