Overview

Deliver and manage ground investigations for water sector infrastructure projects

Tasks

-Ensure compliance with industry standards and health & safety regulations. -Soil and rock logging to current geotechnical standards, including laboratory scheduling. -Supervising, managing and completing intrusive ground investigations involving multiple techniques including sonic, rotary, cable percussion and window sampling boreholes, geophysics, trial pits amongst others. -Mentor junior engineers and contribute to technical development. -Collaborate with clients, regulators, and multidisciplinary teams. -Deliver geotechnical projects from inception to completion.

What You Bring

-Proven experience delivering geotechnical projects. -Firm understanding of UK water sector infrastructure and regulatory frameworks. -Sound understanding of the UK site investigation industry and applicable standards. -Excellent communication, teamwork skills, and client-facing skills. -Degree in Geotechnical Engineering, Geology, or related field. -Working towards Chartered status (CGeol or equivalent). -Full Clean UK Manual driving licence essential.
