Overview

Oversee on‑site trades, safety and schedule for commercial construction projects

Key Responsibilities

Tasks

-Participate in regular WHS inspections and injury/incident investigations and maintain a healthy and safe work environment. -Review, understand and have input to all subcontractor and supplier scope of works. -Ensure projects are completed on time, within budget and to our high standards -Organise completion of defect works in a timely manner. -Work with a site manager to ensure projects are completed on time, within budget and to our high standards. -Maintain Alder’s strong reputation at all times. -Co-ordinate the relationships between various trades and ensure that sub-contractors carry work out safely and efficiently. -Participate in lesson learnt sessions to continuously improve the performance of the overall company team. -Conducting site inspections to ensure quality and safety outcomes, -Ensure environmental controls are suitable and implemented, monitored and reviewed. -Be responsible for co-ordinating trades onsite

Requirements

• 3+ years
• qbcc license
• procore
• trade background
• leadership
• communication

What You Bring

-3+ years experience in a similar role in class 2 – 9 construction as defined under the building codes of Australia (BCA) -Willingness to lead and motivate team members -Excellent communication skills – both oral and written -Be able to work collaboratively in a team environment -Relevant trade background and competencies -Open Builders Supervision license issued by QBCC -Good computer/ mobile device skills for daily use of Programs & Apps (e.g. Procore)
