Tasks

-Collaborate with senior planners and project managers on various transportation projects. -Support the development of reports, presentations, and documentation related to the capital program. -Assist in preparing basic planning studies and gathering data for capital planning activities. -Participate in community engagement by attending public meetings and collecting stakeholder input.

What You Bring

-Demonstrated ability to work effectively in teams and engage with diverse stakeholders. -Strong written and verbal communication skills. -Currently enrolled in an undergraduate program in Urban Planning, Civil Engineering, Environmental Science, or a related field. -A demonstrated interest in transportation planning through prior internships, work experience, or applied academic coursework. -Basic understanding of transportation planning principles and practices. -Familiarity with transportation modeling software or GIS applications. -Prior experience or coursework related to transportation planning or transit-oriented projects. -Experience using Microsoft Office suite and basic graphics software.
