The Role

Overview

Industrial electrician installing, maintaining, repairing electrical systems for commercial sites.

Tasks

-Inspect and test components of electrical systems, including transformers, transfer switches and switchgear. -Repair or replace wiring, equipment, or fixtures using hand tools and power tools. Termination of power/control/monitoring wiring. -Install, maintain, modify and repair all electrical distribution systems and associated electrical equipment/lighting systems. -Utilise blueprints, wiring diagrams and manufacturer’s installation manuals to complete assigned projects. -Survey electrical systems, circuits and plans.

What You Bring

-Test & inspection 2394/2395 (old 2391) -SMSTS or SSSTS qualified -Full UK drivers licence -Containment installation (ladder/tray/basket/galvanised conduit) experience -PASMA trained/qualified -Ability to work as part of a team and lone working -CompEx trained/qualified -Fire alarm installation experience -CSCS Electricians grade/JIB card -NVQ level 3 -MEWPs/IPAF trained/qualified -First aid trained/qualified -Strong communication skills and ability to build a positive rapport with customers and colleagues -Confined space trained/qualified -Effective problem-solver with strong analytical skills
