The Role

Overview

Manage design and delivery of bridge/culvert projects for municipal clients in Edmonton.

Tasks

-Preparing technical reports, modelling and design calculations -Managing designs for the replacement or rehabilitation of standard/major bridges, culverts and pedestrian bridges. -Managing teams in the preparation of drawings and contract documents and supporting designs. -Advancing projects through the planning, concept, design, and construction phases. -Engaging in a collaborative work environment with your team as well as other disciplines and offices. -Providing guidance, including mentoring, and instruction, to junior staff.

What You Bring

-Ability to travel throughout Alberta. -Excellent written and verbal communication skills. -Valid driver's license. -3-5 years of progressive experience in bridge engineering within the consulting industry. -Undergraduate degree in Civil Engineering from an accredited post-secondary institution. -Registered, or eligible for registration as a Professional Engineer or Engineer-In-Training with APEGA. -Experience working Alberta Transportation and Economic Corridors is an asset.
