Manages warehouse inventory, shipping/receiving, and coordinates workflow with staff

Tasks

-Timely processing of returns; Keep jobsites clean and organized -Primary point of contact for inventory controls within the warehouse in addition to within the Inventory Management Software (transactions in/out of software) -Monitoring and tracking of shipments; confirming and communicating delivery to operations teams -Forecasting and maintaining inventory storage space in the warehouse; Ensuring efficient organization of the warehouse -Work with vendors to resolve issues if items are missing or damaged within shipments -Hold yourself accountable for Safe Driving of Company Vehicles -Assist with evaluating the selection and shipping process; work to improve efficiency -Use of warehouse machinery on a daily basis -Managing the administrative responsibilities for shipping and receiving of incoming and outgoing material and equipment -Training staff in stocking procedures and dating methods -Actively participate in required team meetings -Generating inventory accountability and price lists -Submit accurate Timesheet – job numbers/names, OT and travel pay, completed on time, etc., support transition to Electronic timesheet submittal -Ensure proper Inventory Management – review, update, and approve packing slips – submitted timely, proper material management -Placing inventory restock orders -Ensure awareness and support of Stop Work Authority -Complete all Training Requirements – Safety, Certifications, etc. -Teamwork – maintain positive interactions within your team, local office, etc. -Ensure timely and complete submittal of JSAs, Toolbox Talks, Audit Forms, etc. as it applies to the warehouse -Counting and balancing material kept in inventory -Ensuring all inventory is reviewed, organized and audits are done for replenishment -Ensure all required documents are complete, accurate and professional, with required signatures -Coordinating with warehouse staff, shop drivers, and operations team to create a smooth workflow of material and equipment -Assisting with the establishment or the updating of company Inventory SOPs -Communicating with company management about any inventory issues -Support and ensure adherence to company SOPs -Evaluating and managing stock rotation procedures, as applicable -Working in heights to organize high shelving

What You Bring

-Minimum education of High School Diploma or Equivalent -Must enjoy working independently and outdoors -Forklift Certified preferred -Inventory or shipping and receiving experience -Standing and walking for most of the shift -Warehouse coordinating experience -Communicate effectively and professionally within the department and with internal and external customers -Inventory Management software experience -Keeping up-to-date with industry trends and update inventory as needed; ability to adapt processes into a digital process (bar coding, scanning, etc) as a future goal -Basic Math and Reading -Basic to Intermediate computer skills required (MS Office Software) -Sense of pride, integrity, and organizational ability -Lifting up to 50lbs -Good communication skills; both verbal and written -Understand and follow basic Safety procedures -Able to bend, reach and kneel with ease
