Tasks
Cooperates with: Operations/Production, Procurement, Engineering, Human Resources -Support and promote continuous improvement across shifts. -Conduct annual performance reviews and assist in ensuring timecard accuracy. -Participate in quality and manufacturing engineering initiatives. -Report on shift activity and performance to management through written and verbal communication. -Monitor welding processes and inspect completed work to ensure compliance with drawing specifications. -Monitor and guide team performance, offering real-time feedback and coaching. -Conduct annual performance reviews and support HR in maintaining accurate timecard records. -Lead daily startup and safety meetings to communicate goals and maintain compliance. -Ensure all production tasks are completed accurately and efficiently. -Supervise and support second shift employees, promoting safety and productivity. -Enforce company policies and procedures. -Collaborate cross-functionally with other departments to resolve challenges and meet production goals. -Drive quality standards to exceed customer and company expectations.

Job Summary: MIRATECH is seeking a motivated and experienced Second Shift Supervisor to lead our evening production operations. This role is responsible for supervising welders and fabricators, coating, and DPF block production, ensuring safety compliance, maintaining quality standards, and meeting production goals. This role plays a critical part in ensuring team performance while fostering a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement. -Ability to read and interpret production drawings and technical documentation. -Proven leadership experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment. -Strong communication and interpersonal skills. -Secondary education or certifications in manufacturing or continuous improvement preferred. -Welding experience strongly preferred -Decision-making ability under pressure with sound problem-solving skills. -Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook).
