Tasks

-Responsible to maintain, and verify accuracy of project survey data and manage to company standards survey database. Review survey production and final products, processed data collection, and field notes for quality control. -Mentor and assist in training junior staff members -Operate a company vehicle -Perform complex survey duties associated with construction stakeout and boundary, topographic, and as built surveys -Supervise CAD Techs in preparing plans and plats describing in detail the surveys performed -Prepare proposals, scopes of work, schedules, budgets -Observe safety and security procedures -Research historic maps, land records, previous surveys, and land title reports -Travel may be required -Advance the professional and productive working relationships with all clients and coworkers -Complete boundary reductions, boundary determinations, and mapping/topographic field reductions in CAD/survey software

What You Bring

-Proven people management and leadership capabilities -Advanced understanding of survey operations and identification of potential problems -Knowledge and ability to effectively deal with public and governmental agencies, manage field crews, and schedule equipment and supplies -Bachelor of Science or Associates Degree preferred -Advanced problem solving techniques -Proficiency with survey computations, staking/control exhibits, and survey crew instructions for construction staking and field survey projects -Ability to effectively communicate with clients, officials, contractors, coworkers and professionally represent IMEG -Proficient with AutoCAD C3D, survey, GPS, MS Office software -Possesses oral and written communication skills -Knowledge for the operation and assistance of operation of GPS equipment, total stations, levels, data collectors and other survey equipment -Valid driver’s license with ability to be insured by IMEG carrier -Advanced knowledge of land surveying operations, computations, principles and practices. -This position is not eligible for sponsorship -LS required -8+ years of experience -Proficient in on-site office operation, office workflow processes and problem-solving techniques -Proficiency in reading and interpreting engineering plans and construction documents
