Overview

Analyze and report daily Colorado weather data, supporting hydrologic modeling.

Tasks

-Work independently and as a member of a multi-functional, dynamic, multi-disciplinary team to develop meteorological data for risk analysis studies. -Develop solutions to complex problems in creative and effective ways by analyzing existing programs and new systems -Gather and analyze spatial precipitation data -Review, aggregate, and report daily meteorological phenomena in Colorado

These screenings will be conducted by Dewberry’s background vendor of choice and will be conducted in compliance with all applicable federal, state, and local law. -Experience using Python or R programming (or comparable) -Technical writing skills for scientific and general audiences -Pursuing a bachelor's or master's degree in meteorology/atmospheric science -Knowledge of synoptic and mesoscale weather analysis and forecasting -GIS (open-source preferred)
