Oversees all operations, production, delivery, purchasing, and inventory for a location.

Tasks
-Recommends capital improvements in view of forecasted demand for various products, efficiency of current equipment, etc. Institutes a cost-effective vehicle and equipment maintenance program. Reports obsolete equipment/facilities and submits recommendations regarding replacements or improvements. -Oversees the development and implementation of inventory control programs to meet location inventory levels and turns. -Involved in the recruiting, hiring, and training process. Helps to create and enforce staffing measures that reduce employee turnover and help to increase company profits. -Responsible for budget accountability and reporting as it pertains to the financial goals of the company. Works to establish standard cost, operating budgets, and acceptable inventory levels. Monitors expenses and creates new methods to improve each location's financial performance. -Responsible for the overall operations, production, delivery, purchasing, and inventory control of the location. -Motivates employees, maintains a productive workforce, and trains successor management. Reviews and approves wage and salary increases and establishes objectives and performance measures. -Supports and reinforces company Safety initiatives to ensure compliance with all OSHA and DOT requirements. -Obtains feedback on customer satisfaction. -Staff Management - Includes staff in planning, decision-making, facilitating and process improvement; Provides regular performance feedback; Develops subordinates' skills and encourages growth; Solicits and applies customer feedback (internal and external); Fosters quality focus in others; Improves processes, products and services. -Communicates and enforces company policies and procedures, as well as Sarbanes-Oxley requirements, as they pertain to the daily functions of all departments. Acts as a liaison between employees and management to foster a healthy work environment. -Cost Consciousness - Works within approved budget; Develops and implements cost saving measures; Contributes to profits and revenue; Conserves organizational resources.

-Must have prior experience in building materials industry. -Oversees the daily operations of the location. The employee is frequently required to stand; walk; sit; reach with hands and arms; climb or balance and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
