The Role

Overview

Apprentice performing water network tasks including excavation, pipe fitting and safety checks.

Tasks

-Excavate holes using safe digging methods to avoid damage to underground utility apparatus -Maintain site, vehicle, plant and equipment tidiness and security. -Move materials, plant and equipment -Install pipes and fittings to the appropriate standards ensuring, in particular, that good jointing and hygiene practices are followed. -Carry out safety checks and inspections to vehicles, plant, equipment and sites and maintain safety, environmental and quality records.

What You Bring

-Good organisation, time management and communication skills. -Good level of physical fitness and able to work outdoors in all weather -Level 2 Water Network Operative Apprenticeship. -GCSEs at Grade 3-1/D-G or Level 1 Functional Skills in English and Mathematics -Basic IT skills and able to use Microsoft Office packages e.g. Outlook, Word, etc. -Valid UK driving licence
