The Role
Overview
Manage branch sales, rentals, product support, staff and operations for heavy equipment.

Tasks
-Develops and maintains working relationships with customers, corporate managers and employees -Provides on-going performance feedback, and conducts timely special and annual performance reviews, making recommendations for status or salary adjustments -Seeks input from, and reaches across product and service lines to support the needs of customers -Develops human resource procedures to comply with local legal requirements while developing a knowledgeable, productive staff -Establishes sales and profit objectives and ensures objectives are met or exceeded -Develops operational procedures congruent with established Wagner objectives by working with Wagner Equipment Co. and Wagner Rents management teams -Develops product support, sales and rental strategies for all markets for Caterpillar earthmoving equipment, engines and allied lines -Creates a strategy to develop and manage an effective product support, rental and walk-in sales organization -Develops and manages all budget responsibilities to ensure financial results of the business -Plans short and long-term requirements on equipment and facilities -Hires, trains, and directs a working staff sufficient to efficiently perform the functions of the branch operations -Manages Daniel Customer Loyalty survey results and creates a customer service culture that results in the highest customer satisfaction results

What You Bring
-Safety & Product Knowledge -Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel -Maintains knowledge and understanding of products -Standing, walking, talking, sitting, use of hands & hearing -Data Entry, telephone, reading/writing, reasoning, organizational, communication & math skills -5+ years administrative/clerical experience -Intermediate knowledge of DBS and CRM/Sales Link -Bachelor’s degree in a Business related field or equivalent combination of education and experience -Noise: Moderate -5+ years customer service experience -Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft PowerPoint -Medium work that includes lifting and/or moving objects up to 32 pounds or more -Skilled in seeking input from and reaching an agreement with other key managers to determine ways to tailor services that seamlessly cross product and service lines that support the needs of our customers -5+ years supervisory/management experience -Ability to ascend/descend ladders, stairs, etc. -High School Diploma or GED -3+ years sales experience -5+ years’ experience in a heavy equipment/agriculture equipment dealership at a level of responsibility which includes management of sales, rental, and product support operations
