The Role
Overview
Operate e‑coat paint line, load/unload panels, assemble cabinets, and move materials.

Tasks
-Physically mark part numbers on parts, attach paperwork, and dates where applicable. -Unload parts onto pallets or carts without damage to painted surface. -Break down and hang cabinet kits and other parts on the paint line; including covers, nut guards, and miscellaneous component parts. -Prepare and hang large transformer and regulator tanks. -Load parts to satisfy production schedules and due dates. -Load and unload materials into and out of hook burn-off oven. -Assemble cabinets and all related hardware for Lincoln Ave. -Make proper hanger and hook selection to hang parts to ensure safe operations. -Contact supervision or Team Lead for disposition of non-conforming parts. -Identify specialty units from paperwork and identify units to assist painters in properly painting and to ensure on-time delivery. -Apply and remove thread protectors, masking tape, and visually inspects parts for conformance to standards. -Operates stacker and fork trucks to move material to and from storage and staging areas. -Operate drop sections, shuttle cars, towers, and rotators to complete the hanging of tanks, cubicles, and racks containing miscellaneous parts. Operate controls in the selection process for color and destination.
