- Collaborate with electrical and controls engineering teams to ensure seamless integration of telecom systems.
- Perform work safely and effectively. Understand and follow oral and written instructions, including warning signs, equipment use, and other policies.
- Work during normal operating hours to organize and complete work within given deadlines. Work overtime and weekends as required.
- Coordinate with vendors, contractors, and stakeholders to ensure project requirements are met.
- Stay current with industry trends, technologies, and best practices in telecom and datacenter design.
- Lead the design and implementation of telecom systems for datacenter projects, including structured cabling, pathways, spaces, and related infrastructure.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers and project teams.
- Develop detailed design documentation, specifications, and drawings in accordance with industry standards.

- RCDD certification (Registered Communications Distribution Designer) is highly desired.
- Regular, reliable attendance
- Communicate and interact effectively and professionally with supervisors, employees, and others individually or in a team environment.
- Proven ability to manage complex projects and deliver high-quality results under tight deadlines.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
- Experience with BIM tools and CAD software.
- 10+ years of experience in telecom design, with a strong preference for experience in datacenter environments.
- Professional background in electrical engineering, controls engineering, or a related field.
- Knowledge of datacenter operations, infrastructure, and environmental requirements.
- Work productively and meet deadlines timely
- Familiarity with industry standards such as BICSI, TIA/EIA, and NEC.
